Install the agent
The agent is a small local program that talks to your robot's boards over USB serial, Wi-Fi (MQTT), or
Bluetooth. The web app never touches serial itself: flashing, calibration, recording, running skills, and
pairing all go through the agent at http://127.0.0.1:7331.
Install
Linux and macOS:
curl -fsSL https://isaac.tools/install.sh | sh
Windows (PowerShell):
iwr -useb https://isaac.tools/install.ps1 | iex
On a Raspberry Pi or other headless board, the same Linux command installs it as a user service. On desktops it runs with a tray icon.
Pair the browser
The first time a page needs the agent, it asks for a 6-digit code. The agent shows the code in its tray menu or
in the terminal. Enter it once; the site receives a token and keeps it in your browser. The agent accepts
requests only from https://isaac.tools and, in development, http://localhost:3000.
If a page says "no agent", the agent is not running or not reachable on port 7331. Start it and reload.
